This years NCAA Freshman of the Year is Anthony Rendon of Rice University. The 5-10 180 infielder out of Houston, Tx had a year to remember putting up unfathomable numbers, .388, 20 hrs, 72 RBI's, .461 OBP and a .702 slugging percentage. He did all this in his first year of collegiate baseball and his coach, Wayne Graham went on to say ""He had the best freshman year we've ever had." Congrats again to Anthony and look for him to be in the top part of the fiirst round come draft day in 2011.
